Ogden Utah is Best Place for Business AND Careers!

ogdenForbes Magazine recently disclosed the results of their 16th annual look at the Best Places for Business and Careers.

Several Utah communities made the list, however Ogden went from 16th on the list to 11th this year. Can I hear an “OH YEAH!”?

According to the report, “Ogden business costs are fourth lowest in the U.S. at 24% below the national average, and high school attainment is off the charts with 93% of adults possessing a degree.”

Forbes has also ranked Ogden #2 in the Forbes list of “America’s Most Livable Cities”. (I think Forbes has a thing for Ogden.)

As WONDERFUL as these are, there are many MANY other reasons to make Ogden Utah your home.

According to the City of Ogden’s relocation guide, “Ogden is a great place to live – and it’s very affordable.  In 2013, Forbes ranked Ogden the 8th best city in the U.S. for raising a family. This ranking is based on Ogden’s relatively high incomes and low cost of living, along with affordable housing, safe neighborhoods, and good schools. Ogden offers the benefits of both a city and a mountain town – without the usual high costs of either.”

If you’re thinking about buying a home in Ogden, there may be help available if you don’t quite have enough saved up to purchase your home. Ogden has a loan program for down payments or closing costs providing $3,000 to $5,000 assistance for homes in specific areas within the City of Ogden.
