What better way to spend a Saturday morning than to have breakfast provided by local restaurants, purchase local produce and buy unique items for your home? Enjoy baked goods, flowers, candies and antiques – it’s too fabulous to try to explain! You’re just going to have to go there to experience the great tastes and sights of the Market.

Below is a clip from Only in Ogden – looks like FUN!! I have it on my calendar!

Last year Agriculture Deputy Secretary Kathleen Merrigan announced awards to help States expand availability of wireless technology in farmers’ markets not currently participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Currently 1,500 farmers markets across the nation use the EBT technology. EBT technology allows markets that normally accept only cash to accept bank -issued debit and credit cards. How great is that!! Now you don’t have to limit the number of tomatoes you buy OR run home to grab your check book when you see that antique dresser you have been searching for!

Ogden’s Farmers Market is included on the USDA National Farmers Market Directory  which lists farmers who also accept SNAP and other Nutrition Program vouchers.
