Can you believe school is going to be starting up soon? It seems like the kids just got out for summer. We all know getting the kids ready for school can be pretty expensive, even if you only have one attending, not to mention more than one going to school at once.
Do you want to help? The Catholic Community Services is teaming up with Ogden City for their annual Backpack Bonanza. These filled backpacks will be distributed by the Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank to more than 2,000 children throughout Ogden.
Now through August 9th, bins are open for donations of NEW backpacks and school supplies. You can drop off your donations at:
- Catholic Community Services-2504 F Avenue
- All Bank of Utah locations
- United Way of Northern Utah-2955 Harrison Blvd.
- Ogden City Public Works-133 W. 29th Street
Items needed to fill the backpacks include:
- NEW backpacks
- Colored pencils
